I believe many of us had enjoyed and benefited from the low cost flight, not only travelers but also the local tourism industry too. Truly, my trip with friends to Kota Kinabalu a few years back was not possible without AirAsia very low cost flight.
And as of this month, MAS, Malaysia Airlines, had come into the picture to lure customers to its domestic flight services with 0 ringgit promotion.
As I chat with my colleague who sent me the news, I've came up with the slogan, while AirAsia says "Now Everyone Can Fly", I think with MAS, it is going to be "Now Everyone Is Flying!"
I did a quick search for a flight from KL to KK, and indeed, there is 0 ringgit flight!
Well, you got to pay tax as well, which end up MYR120.00, which is rather... still worth it!How about AirAsia pricing? Here we go, it is cheaper!??
I've chosen the economy promo price of RM39. There is also another one at RM100, but of course we compare how cheap we can go here. So plus all the Tax and this and that, it ends up RM110.50, which is RM9.50 cheaper than MAS.
But wait!... you still need the luggages! since it is a no-frill flight, you will be charged extra for your luggages. And it goes like this, say, you check in Bag 2 for RM6.
Oh no... you got to add RM0.50 more to get a Roti Canai on your AirAsia flight from KL to KK!

MHO, two things:
1. who want a vacation on a normal workday(thursday)
2. to fly at 6am, that means you have to arrive LCCT at 4am-5am, if you take the RM9 airasia bus from KL sentral to LCCT, that's another hour earlier...)
